Another late fall day as temperatures will not make it out of the 40s this afternoon. Temperatures in the 40s are more like late November then October. We will see temperatures begin to warm up though as highs should be on the 60s by the end of the week. Another weather system will move through late Friday night with temperatures dipping below average again on Saturday.

I'd say pack your warm clothes. The 'American Model' isn't on to it yet but I think we will have a similar pattern to what we are experiencing now. Cold and that north breeze blowing off the lake. Hope that helps, have a good trip.

I'm curious on your take about the Climate Prediction Center's warm winter forecast for the Great Lakes. I seem to recall this was the forecast for last year and it didn't happen.
