Pictures of the ice

Here are some pictures Kelly took this morning. This ice has stuck to vegetation and there are thousands without power. The wind and ice are a lethal combination. .30" of ice accumulation so far.

I want to be one of perhaps many who just has to congratulate you (and the rest of the waether team) for bringing us a very comprehensive forecast, along with up-to-the-minute changes in the weather.

It won't keep the icy-heavy branches from falling from my trees, but it DOES provide a damn fine idea as to what we can expect.

While it looks nice, it's also cautionary and sometimes dangerous out there (with down wires and all).

I'm from the east coast, seen a LOT of ice storms, and I've not seen weather reporting THIS good in a VERY long time.
