A short break!

High pressure will give us a much needed break today. Even though this high pressure is coming from the north it will heat up nicely with April sunshine taking temperatures back up into the 50s. This quiet pattern is not going to last long though as a Pacific front will move into the southwest and move into our area Thursday night and Friday. One big pattern change you may be noticing lately, we are getting more weather systems from the southern jet stream, certainly a sure sign of Spring!

Still quiet here with a high pressure center across the area this morning.
The high begins to move east and look towards Texas, that's where the next Pacific front parks before it moves our way.
Here is the end of the day on Thursday, the moisture moves in from the southwest and I think our best chance of showers comes in Thursday overnight and Friday.
