Colder Outlook?

One of the readers asked earlier today what I thought of the 8 to 14 day outlook of colder temperatures and wet conditions. I have to say that it looks like toward the end of the run of our medium range forecast models we are seeing the trend of colder air continuing with very little argument I might add. By 7pm Friday the temperature is 32 degrees with a huge low down across the southern stream again!
Instead of making the dreaded turn across our region is looks like this one turns into an East Coast storm.
It gets pushed of the East Coast by anther storm high which takes our temperatures down to -6C.

Now to the Global Forecasting Model with has Temperatures moderating back to the 40s Monday only to slam more cold air in with an arctic system by Tuesday.
This 'clipper' type system will keep cold air across the region for day 10 as well.
