The Fun Continues

Even though today will be quiet we will get another punch of cold air tonight and tomorrow which should really be reinforced over the weekend with an Arctic high pressure area. Here is the next 'clipper like' low as it moves across northern Michigan. You can see a chunk of the Polar Vortex with temperatures in southern Canada at -30C. Wow, that's cold for March!
You can see that the Polar Vortex releases a bit over northern Minnesota with -27C by 7am Friday Morning.
The core of the coldest air then shifts to northern Michigan and we see a very strong northerly flow by 7am Saturday morning.
The cold air begins to moderate by 7am Sunday. But with the snow on the ground I'm not really going to bring in the warm air that quickly.
